The Board of Directors of the Pattonville Fire District announce the retirement of Fire Chief Dave Dotson. Chief Dotson has served the Fire District for the past 23 years and has set his retirement in January 2021. The Board would like to thank Chief Dave Dotson for his dedication and the accomplishments the District has achieved under his leadership. The District wishes him a happy and healthy retirement.

With the announcement to retire from Chief Dotson, the Board has promoted Assistant Chief Jim Usry to the rank of Fire Chief effective January 2021. Chief Usry has served the district for over 30 years, is a lifelong Pattonville resident, and a Pattonville High School Alumni Class of "86". Chief Usry joined the Pattonvillle Fire District as a Paramedic-Firefighter and has served in the ranks of Private, Captain, Training Officer, Public Education Coordinator, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief. Chief Usry leads by example with experience, knowledge, and compassion for our firefighters and residents of the Fire District. Were excited to see Jim in his new role as the Fire Chief of the Pattonville Fire District.

The Board of Directors has also promoted Captain Kevin Stuhlman to the rank of Assistant Chief. Assistant Chief Stuhlman has served the Fire District for 17 years. Assistant Chief Stuhlman has served in the ranks of Private, Captain, and Public Education Coordinator. Assistant Chief Stuhlman has a strong background in the Special Operations of the District. He currently serves on the St. Louis County Heavy Rescue Task Force, Hazardous Materials Team, and manages the Water Rescue assets of the Fire District. Chief Stuhlman demonstrates excellent project management skills and vision for the District. His skills and abilities will enhance the current management team of the District.
