Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a skill that can potentially save someone’s life. According to the American Heart Association, 4 out of 5 cardiac arrests happen at home, which means that CPR is a skill that could be used to save a family members’ life. It is proven that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival. We attempt to limit life loss in case of a fire in your home via our Smoke Detector Program. Every year our crews go to every house in the district to: check smoke detectors, change batteries, and/or install new smoke detectors if needed. If you are having a problem with your smoke detector at any time, please call our non-emergency number 314-739-3118 to have a crew come by and check your detector or click on the Smoke Detector tab below.
