Pattonville Fire District believes that education and prevention are vital components of protection.  It is our goal to train the community prior to an emergency to better prepare you if you become part of one. 

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a skill that can potentially save someone’s life.  According to the American Heart Association, 4 out of 5 cardiac arrests happen at home, which means that CPR is a skill that could be used to save a family members’ life.  It is proven that effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.  For information on how to schedule a class please click the CPR section below.

Fire Extinguishers can help limit loss of property at work or home if properly trained. For information on how to schedule a class, please click the Fire Extinguisher tab below. 

We attempt to limit life loss in case of a fire in your home via our Smoke Detector Program.  Every year our crews go to every house in the district to: check smoke detectors, change batteries, and/or install new smoke detectors if needed.  If you are having a problem with your smoke detector at any time, please call our non-emergency number 314-739-3118 to have a crew come by and check your detector or click on the Smoke Detector tab below.
