The St. Louis County Department of Public Health has developed a COVID-19 vaccination program for homebound individuals and their caretakers. Homebound individuals must call 314-615-2660 and stay on the line throughout the automated answering message and wait to speak to an operator. Once an operator answers, individuals need to ask to be registered for the Homebound Vaccination Program. The operator will ask the caller a series of questions to determine if they qualify for this opportunity. The Department of Public Health is also accepting email inquires at dphcovidvaccine@stlouisco.com.
If an individual does qualify for the Homebound Vaccination Program, they will be registered for and receive a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccination (Johnson & Johnson is a single shot vaccine regimen).
Pattonville Fire Protection District will send a crew of two Paramedic/Firefighters to the homebound individual’s residence to administer the COVID-19 vaccination. The Paramedic/Firefighters will remain on site with the recipient(s) to monitor for adverse reactions and to obtain the necessary demographic information.
Shortly after receiving the vaccine, the St. Louis County Department of Public Health will contact the homebound individual to complete a questionnaire regarding what side effects he/she may have experienced.
